THE MISSING CRIMOIRE

Think Harry Skywalker—an orphaned boy haunted by a mysterious past, born with unique abilities, and destined for things greater than he knows—all in the city of Chicago, Illinois. While my 90,000 word, middle-grade fantasy novel, The Missing Crimoire, combines the father/son conflict of Star Wars with the melding of magical and non-magical worlds of Harry Potter, it also bubbles with originality—keepers (not wizards) are born with the ability to master magic through the use of a key; blood relations are stronger than you’d guess; keeper cities lay magically over Lake Michigan; and royalty—once a thing of the past—works its way back into society at a pivotal moment.

The Missing Crimoire is my first novel in a five-book series and celebrates the every-day kid who happens to find adventure, friendship, and even a little magic right in his own backyard.
